ALL ABOUT GREIG

Greig was born into a musical family from Perth, Scotland. He began playing drums from the age of 4 and became immersed in music from an early age. At 13 he discovered the bass guitar and it wasn’t long before he was working with various bands around Scotland. At 16 he obtained a position at Leeds College Of Music where he studied for 5 years and continued to live in Leeds as a working musician for 16 years.

Now living near Bristol, England, Greig continues to work as a freelance bass player and is currently working with Sunny Ozell, Roy G. Hemmings and Keith Allen.

Greig’s highlights include working with Jethro Tull/Ian Anderson, Corinne Bailey Rae, Lily Allen, Chrissie Hynde, Teddy Thompson, Kelly Jones, John Cooper Clarke, Bill Laurence, Dennis Coffey, Dennis Rollins and The Haggis Horns.
